Interview questions?

Alright, let's get someone new over on that sidebar!
I think we'll be asking Andy from HideYourArms a few questions.
What those questions are, are mostly going to be up to you. So, what do you want to know about a somewhat veteran t-shirt/hoodie blogger?
I'm hoping to launch the new interview when I launch the new site.

Haha... well, you've been in this business longer than me and a lot of other smaller blogs.

I'm just going to throw a slew of questions at the wall and see what sticks.
- what are some design elements that you think are overused?
- are there certain things that you have a particular weakness for - cute models, antlers, interesting print locations, etc?
- how do you feel about Threadless these days?
- what do you think of "streetwear" in general?
- with your seasoned taste in sleeved clothing, have you ever considered designing on your own?
- what do you think of BAPE and BBC?
- what is something that you'd like to see more of in sleeved clothing?
- is it true that there's a hoodie backlash in the UK? I remember hearing something about this.
- do you ever chat with any of the other apparel bloggers, like Preshrunk, TEEES, CrownDozen, or addic[tee]d? Do you ever avoid writing about something if they've already covered it, and what about when you avoid that rule (for instance, you and CrownDozen's coverage of Dead Serious)?
- what is the most you've ever paid for a t-shirt or hoodie, or considered paying?
- Threadless or Oddica?
- Krudmart or Karmaloop?
- what do you think of the Karmaloop Kazbah?
alright, that's all I've got for now.

a Bathing Ape - Nigo's super-hyped streetwear line that has low supply, high demand, and is worn by various superstars. some people still love it, some people are tired of it. Nigo is also partnered with Pharrell on his Billionaire Boys' Club/Ice Creams lines.

also, it might be cool to get Andy's opinion on where waterbased ink is going vs. plastisol. honestly, I'll probably just post a comment here every time I think of a question. OTHER PEOPLE HAD BETTER COME UP WITH THEM TOO or else I'll feel like a weiner.

I hope more people start coming up with some ideas too. Although, at this rate, I could probably do an entire interview with just your questions...
Don't worry, I've got a few I plan on asking.

I would enjoy answering pretty much all of those questions from David. I don't write about much of that stuff on HYA so it'll be a fun change.

What's your favorite shirt (or hoodie, in this case)/favorite brand?
What do you think of clothing companies donating a certain percent of profits to non-profit organizations?

what do you think of the state of fashion in the various cities you've visited (you've been to France, London, Tokyo, and New York, at least, right?)? Also I'd wanna hear about how you decided to start HYA and what you think was instrumental in picking up clout and readership.

I'm liking David's questions... I don't think we really need to come up with them, we can just leave it to Your Weinerness ;)

so, am I the weiner, or is Brad the weiner? I'm happy with this either way, but I just want to make sure we're on the same page (in this book I have, Who Who's Among Weiners).
regardless, I'm psyched to see the interview and the new site!
